Senate probe in Davao City on Cha-cha payoff slammed
House of Representatives' Deputy Speaker and Quezon Rep. David Suarez and Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio 'Dong' Gonzales Jr, in a video message on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, reiterate that there was no money that was paid to the signatories of the people's initiative campaign to amend the 1987 Constitution. They also called the Senate investigation by Sen. Maria Josefa Imelda 'Imee' Marcos in Davao City a 'huge waste of time.'
