Council plan to save Perth trees to be rejected by WA minister despite community support

The Planning Minister John Carey has refused to confirm if he'll scrap a plan to protect Perth's trees. Perth has the least tree canopy of any Australian capital city - and advocates say the measure was intended to change that.
