Online sex blackmailer Anthony Burns has been jailed for 24 years for offences against dozens of female victims between 2018 and 2021. The 39-year-old was sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court, having been found guilty last year of more than 40 charges. One of his victims was an eight-year-old girl in the US, who was abused by her mother following sustained coercion. Burns learned online blackmail techniques from Abdul Elahi, who was sentenced to 32 years in jail in 2021, after targetting 2,000 people globally. Report by Jonesia.
