Antonio Iannelli, a 42-year-old Italian rider, died during Triumph Day testing while testing the Varano circuit on a 672. The tragedy occurred on July 9th 2010-
It was the first of three days of rehearsals for the event. At the end of the straight, Iannelli was thrown from the motorcycle, in front of the eyes of many spectators. There was nothing that could be done for him, and when the doctor came, he was already dead.
