Colorado's Highest Court , Disqualifies Donald Trump, From 2024 Primary Ballot.
On December 19, Colorado's Supreme Court ruled that former President Donald Trump would be prohibited from being a candidate in the state's primary on constitutional grounds. .
NBC reports that the first-of-its kind decision
comes from a lawsuit focused on the
14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
A majority of the court holds
that President Trump is disqualified
from holding the office of President
under Section Three of the
Fourteenth Amendment of

a wrongful act under the Election Code
for the Colorado Secretary of State
to list him as a candidate on

The court emphatically stated that Secretary of State Jena Griswold , "may not list President Trump’s name on
the 2024 presidential primary ballot, nor may
she count any write-in votes cast for him.".

appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.
