Anheuser-Busch union members, which includes around 5,000 Teamsters workers across the company's 12 US breweries, have voted 99% in favor of authorizing a potential strike. The threat of an A-B strike comes as the company's parent AB InBev saw revenue and stock prices drop due to a Bud Light boycott stemming from an LGBTQ partnership promotion. U.S. revenue declined 13.5% due to lower Bud Light volumes. The Teamsters union wants to negotiate an agreement that improves wages, protects jobs, and secures healthcare and retirement benefits for its members.
