2023 is closing with a major change in the criminal justice system in Trinidad and Tobago as the Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Legal Affairs expects the start of a "new thoroughly reformed, highly streamlined, and entirely operational pre-trial system that has been under development for several decades."
