The Opposition Leader says that "the Government must ensure that that Dragon gas deal" goes through but with one key condition that the revenue collected by Venezuela's government led by President Nicolas Maduro "is not used to purchase weapons" to be use against the people of Guyana" or the Venezuelan Opposition."
The Opposition Leader is also says that her position and that of her party now on the matter is not because of the ethnicity of its current president and is also not because Guyana now has oil.
