Newark Town welcomed Gedling Miners Welfare to the Blue Fortress where they went 16 unbeaten in a row at their home ground.
Up 4-1 at half-time thanks to a brace from Ryan Smith, and goals from Lewis Chambers and Josh Randall, Gedling closed the gap to 4-3.
