A woman has died following a road collision in Liverpool city centre on Sunday evening. The 92-year-old pedestrian was involved in a collision with a blue Ford Focus on Canning Street. A 33-year-old man from Liverpool has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
People from Liscard said "it needs a massive facelift" as Wirral Council gets £10.7m to do up the town. Liscard's regeneration is one of 55 projects across the country to be awarded levelling up government funding for regeneration.
