Japan halts Osprey flights following fatal US air force crash
Japan suspends Osprey flights after a US Air Force Osprey crashed into the sea during a training mission, with Tokyo requesting the grounding of all Ospreys in Japan except those involved in the crash site search; however, the Pentagon stated that US Ospreys continue to operate in Japan, and there is no official request to freeze Osprey flights from Japan.
