Swansea’s waterfront winterland is a classic in the city, with rides and fires to roast marshmallows and all the warming christmas drinks you can get your hands on, plus we see the return of ice skating at the site, with sessions taking place all throughout winter, just on the seafront, it’s a proper Christmas Day out. Open now, all the way through until 7th January.

Cardiff’s winter wonderland is Wales’ flagship winter christmas experience, with the ice rink now being moved into the Castle, the whole event is growing every year. Their alpine village, serving perfect christmas tipples, to the rides and games, plus of course, you can get a view of the whole city on their massive ferris wheel, just 2 minutes outside the city centre, open now until 2nd January.

And finally, Conwy in North Wales isn’t a big city like Swansea or Cardiff but with their Winterfest will be taking over the town in just a few weeks, as a torch lit procession with lords and ladies and knights, choirs, performers and chestnuts roasting, the whole town will be uniquely Christmassy taking place on the 9th December.
