Italian investors eye livestock farming in PH, says ICCPI
Lorens Ziller, executive director of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (ICCPI), says that Italian firms are in the business of supplying additives in the food production sector, specifically in livestock farming in the Philippines. He said Italians find competition stiff in the country, as they compete with China, Taiwan and Vietnam that are offering very low prices. However, quality remains an edge for the Italian firms.
