The plan to bring in flood experts from the Netherlands will need to be revisited as the European country will be changing its prime minister following a recent general election, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The Prime Minister said during the Prime Minister’s Question Time in the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (Nov 28) when asked by Datuk Mohd Shahar Abdullah (BN-Paya Besar) if Malaysia had any plans to bring in experts from other countries to help mitigate the effects of climate change, especially floods, Anwar said he would call the new Dutch Prime Minister once the Netherlands' new government is formed to clarify the previous commitment to send in experts to help Malaysia in flood mitigation efforts.
