Soldiers are to join police in establishing an increased Police and Army presence and patrols around construction sites.
The announcement was made by the National Security Ministry on Friday as it said the National Security Minister held a recent meeting with representatives of the public and private construction sectors.
The Ministry said they complained of heightened incidents of extortion and threats to life at construction sites.
