The influx of returning Afghans from Iran has doubled in the last month, with reports indicating increased pressure from Iranian security forces. Simultaneously, Afghanistan's eastern border with Pakistan is experiencing a surge in returnees following Islamabad's directive for 1.7 million undocumented Afghans to leave voluntarily or face deportation.
