As of October 12th of this year, a total of 38 out of the 384 applications for individual pepper spray user permits have been approved by the Police Commissioner .
The National Security Minister provided the information in the Senate today in response to questions from an Independent Senator.
And the Minister also gave details of the number of pepper spray import and retail licenses that have been approved thus far.
