The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Vfx Breakdown By Mpc
During this Halloween week, we thought a zombie VFX breakdown would be a good idea :) Check out the work of our MPC Paris and Bangalore teams on The Walking Dead series: Daryl Dixon, with over 300 shots in their hands, including the creation of a 3D post-apocalyptic Paris environment. Kudos to everyone involved in this project!
Our teams were really excited about this project throughout the VFX production process. Especially when it came to transforming Paris into a post-apocalyptic city with over 300 visual effects shots spread across 6 episodes – all under the supervision of Jao M’Changama from Excuse My French, the overall visual effect supervisor on the show.
Congratulations to our MPC teams, led by Niranjan Sivagurunathan and supported in VFX production by Nicolas Nepveu. Also, kudos to Florent Taisne – DFX Supervisor, Christophe ‘Tchook’ Courgeau – Head of Matte Painting, and Rodolphe Zirah – CG Supervisor.
We’d also like to extend our thanks to Left Productions, Pilgrim, and First Step for their trust in us during the production of this series. Don’t miss out on this latest chapter in the The Walking Dead universe!
