The Al Quds Hospital in Gaza, the second largest in the territory, says it warned Israel that it could not evacuate before an Israeli airstrike on the area. Hospital officials say they received two phone calls from Israel on Sunday telling them to evacuate the building immediately. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society has said evacuating the hospital is not feasible as it is treating hundreds of patients, including many in the intensive care unit and children in incubators who cannot be easily moved. The PRCS has called on Israel and humanitarian groups to support the hospital and urge Israel not to carry out any more airstrikes near the facility. They say the situation is becoming desperate as the hospital runs low on fuel and medical supplies.
