Devin Vassell added 25 points and three rebounds in the victory, while Alperen Sengun (25 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists) and Fred VanVleet (24 points, eight rebounds, 12 assists) combined for 49 points for the Rockets in the losing effort. The Spurs improved to 1-1 on the season, while the Rockets fall to 0-2.
