Drought in Brazil's Amazon reveals ancient engravings

Extreme drought in parts of the Amazon has revealed carvings of human forms on dozens of usually submerged rock formations. The engravings, visible near the northwestern Brazilian city of Manaus may date back some 2,000 years. Severe droughts in the Amazon have drastically reduced river levels, affecting a region that depends on a network of waterways for transportation and supplies.
