Afghans live in tents amid fear of earthquakes
‘We can't go home out of fear,’ says Ghulam Sakhi, a 42-year-old resident of Herat. Recent earthquakes in western Afghanistan have claimed over 1,000 lives and left countless homeless. Tents are set up nearby to shelter those affected, and the WHO reports nearly 20,000 people impacted by the quakes.
