Popular R&B artist Wendell B is reportedly dead after a “long battle” with an illness.
Singer Wendell Brown, well-known as Wendell, became a prominent part of the R&B realm since his debut in the early ’90s. He had his own record label and released several full-length albums during his musical career. The musician was 65 at the time of his death.
Wendell B dead after succumbing to illness
The singer reportedly passed away after battling cancer for a long time, music magazine Soul Track reports. No other details regarding the nature of illness or details surrounding Wendell’s condition before his death have been revealed. His family are yet to announce the tragic news as well.
Wendell led a relatively private life with barely any presence on social media. His official Facebook account consists of some of his older videos in which the singer discussed his shows and even the death of his photographer friend in June.
However, he hadn’t shared any update on his health or the illness he was reportedly suffering from.
