Police have launched a murder investigation after a triple-stabbing in Halifax.
Emergency services raced to reports of the serious assault in the town centre at 3.48am this morning (Sun).
Three men were found to have sustained knife wounds.
One of the victims died in hospital, whilst another is said to be in critical condition.
The other sustained a serious but not life-threatening stab wound.
In a statement, West Yorkshire Police said: "There is a significant police scene in place in the town centre while police conduct specialist searches and forensic enquiries.
"The public and local businesses are thanked for their patience at this time.
"The investigation is in its very early stages and further information will be released in due course."
