Romualdez pushes amendments to economic provisions in 1987 Constitution
Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez talks about the need to amend the restrictive provisions of the 1987 Constitution during the Philippine Constitution Association (Philconsa) and Senate Night in Makati City on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023. The event was jointly organized by the Manila Overseas Press Club (MOPC) and Philconsa. Romualdez said the amendments would bolster the country’s competitiveness in attracting foreign investments that would generate jobs, create income opportunities, and usher in progress.
