Four men have been charged in connection with the death of a man in the Thornliebank area in 2019.
33-year-old Anthony Ferns was assaulted inside his car which was parked on Crebar Street, which he managed to drive a short distance away before collapsing.
Police have reportedly spoken to to “hundreds” of people within their investigation and examined thousands of hours worth of CCTV before making the arrests.
Next up, a new art installation, dubbed the ‘Kelpie’s Cousin’, is to be installed on the site of a new active travel bridge in North Glasgow.
The 121-metre tall sculpture will take the title ‘Beithir’ and depict a mythical creature in Scottish folklore.
Designed by artist curator Nichol Wheatley, the project is expected to take up to five years to complete.
And in other news, the American fast-food chicken chain Popeyes is set to open in Glasgow on 18 September, making it the first of its kind in Scotland
It will be located in Barrhead Retail Park, just a 15 minute drive from the city centre.
