In a relief for the Maharashtra government, Maratha leader Manoj Jarange-Patil finally broke his 17-day long hunger strike by accepting a glass of juice from Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on September 14. Manoj Jarange-Patil, however, announced that the protest for Maratha reservation would continue.
