Former NFL Receiver , Mike Williams, Dies After Construction Accident.
Associated Press reports that former
NFL receiver Mike Williams died
on September 12 at the age of 36.
Williams was injured in a construction accident
two weeks ago in Hillsborough County, Florida.
His agent, Hadley Engelhard, said the former member
of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills
died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida. .
According to the Tampa Bay Times, Williams
was removed from life support on September 7. .
The mother of Williams' 8-year-old
daughter said that he had been
partially paralyzed in the accident.

In 2010, after a standout college career
at Syracuse, Williams was a fourth-round
draft pick for the Buccaneers. .
As a rookie, Williams had 65
receptions for 964 yards
and 11 touchdowns. .
In 2014, Wiliams was traded to his native Buffalo,
where he played nine games, making eight
catches for 142 yards and scoring one touchdown. .
By the end of his NFL career in 2016,
Williams had 223 receptions for 3,089 yards
and 26 touchdowns in 63 games.
