Nancy and Bruce Schaefer - her husband of 52 years - were found dead March 26, 2010 in their home. Nancy had a single gunshot wound in her back while Bruce had a single gunshot wound in his chest. The police ruled it as murder-suicide perpetrated by Bruce, but never offered any motive.
