It has new technology and more land equipment, New Ford F-150 Raptor and Tremor 2024
Fox's electronic, dual-live valve shocks, along with an updated bumper and other updates, will make the 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor and Raptor R much more capable than last year.
To kick things off, the Blue Oval has refreshed the designs of both the F-150 Raptor and the Tremor. Starting from the side mirrors and moving forward, both trucks now feature distinct designs that aim to proudly display their aggressive and commanding stance to all onlookers.
Additionally, on Raptor series vehicles equipped with 37-inch tires, the bumper end caps are designed to expose more of the front tire. This not only looks more aggressive, but also makes the truck more capable in rough terrain than standard bumper-equipped models.
An option for the 2024 F-150 Raptor, the shock absorbers expand existing Fox Live Valve shock absorbers with new rebound control with an off-road algorithm developed by Ford Performance. These allow the electronic suspension controls to be adjusted hundreds of times per second to adapt to changing terrain conditions.
If a driver's ambitions are too big for all the new suspension technology, standard forged tow hooks will help them get out of trouble. If necessary, it can also be connected to new cranes designed for the 2024 F-150 Tremor.
Designed to fit into the model's modular bumper, the model will also be available with a brush guard designed by Ford engineering, and other accessories are also being designed. The bumper was also designed to work with Tremor's "coast-to-coast" grille.
Ford chose to coat the truck's bumper in a combination of Blackened Dark Anodized and Carbon Black Colors. Elsewhere, the Tremor box side label, orange accents, unique running boards and decorative stitching on the interior will help the model stand out.
A specific update for the powertrains of both models has not yet been announced, but some omissions seem notable. For the 2023 model year, the Tremor came standard with the Coyote V8, producing 400 hp (298 kW/405 PS) and 500 lb-ft (678 Nm) of torque.
Ford confirmed that, as in 2023, the 2024 F-150 Raptor will come with a high-output 3.5-liter V6 producing 450 hp (335 kW/456 PS) and 510 lb-ft (691 Nm). Meanwhile, the power figures of the Raptor R have not been announced yet, but Ford has confirmed that a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine will be placed under the hood. For 2023, the engine produces 700 hp (522 kW/710 PS) and 640 lb-ft (868 Nm) of torque.
The 2024 Ford F-150 will go on sale in early 2024. Price information is expected to be announced at a later date.
