Slovenia head coach lauds Luca Doncic’s dedication
Slovenia men's basketball head coach Aleksander Sekulic raved about Luka Doncic's dedication to winning even in a classification match in the FIBA Basketball World Cup.
Sekulic said that superstars like Doncic can easily skip games like classification ones but he said that Doncic is different, that he wanted to win.
In the battle for seventh match, Doncic poured 29 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists on Saturday, September 9 at the Mall of Asia Arena where Slovenia earned an 89-85 win.
His scoring output enabled him to join 10 other players who scored at least 200 points in a single World Cup run.
