This gnarly fail video emphasizes the importance of wearing a helmet while skating.
The footage, shared by Nicolas Auroux, features him going for a jaw-dropping grind. Impressively enough, he pulls it off, but little does he realize that there is a tall, vertical obstacle in his path!
As a result, Nicolas goes head-first into the pole in his way right after acing the grind, ending his performance in a chaotic fashion.
"I’m a professional inline skater," the subject told WooGlobe. "This video was shot during a street competition in Paris called the 'Shred Da Ground' contest. I was performing and the pole was in my way."
