ಭಾರತೀಯ ಬಾಹ್ಯಾಕಾಶ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ (ಇಸ್ರೋ) ಭಾನುವಾರ ಚಂದ್ರಯಾನ-3 ರ ವಿಕ್ರಮ್ ಲ್ಯಾಂಡರ್‌ಗೆ ಲಗತ್ತಿಸಲಾದ 'ಚೆಸ್ಟ್' ಉಪಕರಣದಿಂದ ಅಳೆಯಲಾದ ಚಂದ್ರನ ಮೇಲ್ಮೈಯಲ್ಲಿನ ತಾಪಮಾನ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸದ ಗ್ರಾಫ್ ಅನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಬಾಹ್ಯಾಕಾಶ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, 'ಚಂದ್ರನ ಮೇಲ್ಮೈ ಥರ್ಮೋ ಫಿಸಿಕಲ್ ಎಕ್ಸ್‌ಪರಿಮೆಂಟ್' (ಚೆಸ್ಟ್) ಚಂದ್ರನ ಮೇಲ್ಮೈಯ ಉಷ್ಣ ವರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಧ್ರುವದ ಸುತ್ತಲಿನ ಚಂದ್ರನ 'ತಾಪಮಾನ ಪ್ರೊಫೈಲ್' ಅನ್ನು ಅಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on Sunday released a graph of temperature variation on the lunar surface measured by the 'Chest' instrument attached to Chandrayaan-3's Vikram lander. According to the space agency, the 'Lunar Surface Thermophysical Experiment' (CHEST) will measure the 'temperature profile' of the moon around the south pole to understand the thermal behavior of the lunar surface.
