Thai Ex-PM Thaksin returns from exile
Controversial Ex-prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra returns to Thailand after years of self-imposed exile on the same day his affiliated party aims to establish a new government. Despite claiming his return is unrelated to the party's pursuit of power, many speculate it's linked to their activities. Thaksin arrived with his family, greeted supporters, and paid respects to the king and queen's portrait at the airport, refraining from speaking.
