A new company is being set up by the Welsh government to help fund community projects across Wales. Ynni Cymru, part of Welsh labour’s co-operative agreement with Plaid Cymru, will be based on Anglesey and has so far given out three quarters of a million pounds to projects, with more planned in the future.

Michael O’Brien spent 11 years behind bars, and hopes new UK laws will mean he is fully refunded for his time in prison.
A family in Ystrad Mynach has spotted a rare white squirrel jumping across their garden. The rodent stayed clinging to a garage wall for about 2 hours as neighbours came to see it. The little is rare, and only a few have been spotted in the last few years, once in Bedfordshire in 2019 and in Scotland in 2020.
