Forteenth album by American jazz composer and saxophonist Wayne Shorter. The album was the outcome of the second recording session (the first session, Moto Grosso Fejo, with a completely differet line-up was not issued untill 1974). Shorter had just married Ana Maria Patricio and the name "Iska" in the album title refers to their daughter, born around the time the record was made. "Odissey of Iska" blends the intesity of spiritual jazz with the richness of Miles late 60s works, and is more cohesive, more sensual than the previous "Moto Grosso Fejo".
