Chinese and Russian officials to join North Korean armistice commemorations
Russia and China will send government delegations to North Korea to mark the 70th anniversary of the Korean War armistice. The visits indicate North Korea's increased openness after pandemic isolation and its desire to display alliances with authoritarian neighbors amid escalating nuclear tensions with the US, South Korea, and Japan.
