Cignal on track to finals in PVL Invitational Conference
Cignal HD Spikers head coach Shaq Delos Santos wants his team to play better as they brace for stiffer competition following a round robin semifinals opening win against PLDT in the 2023 PVL Invitational Conference at the PhilSports Arena at the PhilSports Arena on July 20, 2023. The HD Spikers blanked the High Speed Hitters, 25-22, 25-15, 25-21, to improve to 1-1 in the round robin semis where the top two advance to the finals. The High Speed Hitters dropped to 0-2, having lost to the defending champs Creamline Cool Smashers in Pool A eliminations and now to the HD Spikers.
