Protesters gathered in Portland as the arrival of the Bibby Stockholm, a barge designated to house up to 500 asylum seekers, was towed into port.
Two groups of demonstrators brandished placards near the harbour. One group expressed their opposition to the barge with a sign that read "no to the barge," while the other group stood in solidarity with the asylum seekers. Report by Covellm.
