Almadro wishes Blue Eagles well under new coach
Oliver Almadro wishes the Ateneo well as the Blue Eagles move forward with new coach Brazilian Sergio Veloso. Veloso also coaches the Philippine men's national volleyball team. While Season 85 was not a successful run for Almadro and the Blue Eagles who had their worst record in 14 years (4-10), he did find success in his 12 years with Ateneo. Almadro, who coaches Petro Gazz in the PVL, led the Blue Eagles to the Season 81 championship in 2019 and the men's team to three straight championships in seasons 77 to 79.
