Fish carcasses litter drought-hit Iraq's riverbanks and marshes
Dead fish line the banks of rivers and marshes in southeastern Iraq's Tigris river floodplain. This region is already suffering from the effects of global warming. Despite its dry nature, Iraq is ranked among the top five countries globally facing major impacts from climate change, the United Nations says.
