Authorities in this country and other Caribbean countries are getting some help from the United States to battle violent crimes.
United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in T&T on Wednesday, for talks with CARICOM leaders.
He says the U.S. is stepping up collaboration with the Caribbean to prosecute gun crimes.
The U.S. is also dedicating billions of dollars to help small farmers.
