Ukrainian forces have reportedly crossed the Dnipro River and retaken territory on the left bank of Kherson province. According to pro-Russian Telegram channels, Ukrainian troops have seized the village of Dachi, opposite the city of Kherson. Ukrainian forces have dug in and are seeking to establish a bridgehead, the pro-Russian channels said. Reports suggest Kyiv is seeking to exploit fresh weaknesses in Russia’s position after the sabotage earlier this month of the Kakhovka dam. A Russian-registered Embraer Legacy 600 jet, which is linked to Yevgeny Prigozhin, flew to Belarus from Russia on June 27. However, there was no immediate indication of who was on board.
