On June 12, Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait said that farmers would continue their movement until a law is passed on Minimum Support Price (MSP) guarantees.
“Police lathi-charged the farmers and put our people in jail. This protest is against them. This message will go across the country. We are demanding a law on Minimum Support Price (MSP). The government continuously tampers with the rate and misleads the country. Farmers will continue their movement till a law is not passed on MSP,” said Tikait.
