Italy U-20 successfully advanced to the final of the 2023 U-20 World Cup after successfully defeating South Korea U-20 with a narrow score of 2 1 in the semifinal match which was held at Estadio Unico Diego Maradona, La Plata, Friday (9/6/2023) morning WIB. The two winning goals for Italy were scored by Cesare Casadei and Simone Pafundi respectively. South Korea had evened the score thanks to Lee Seung-won's penalty. Thanks to this result, Italy also has the right to qualify for the final to face Uruguay. Meanwhile, South Korea will face Israel in the match for third place.
