Clara, a lonely and reserved nurse, is hired by the wealthy and enigmatic Ana to be the caretaker of her unborn child. Ana, a pregnant woman with a mysterious past, is isolated in her grand, decaying mansion on the outskirts of São Paulo. As Clara starts working for Ana, an unexpected bond forms between the two women, leading to a passionate affair.
However, as Ana's pregnancy progresses, she begins experiencing strange and disturbing transformations during the full moon nights. These transformations unleash an uncontrollable hunger and a primal, animalistic behavior within her. Ana's condition and the bizarre events that follow force Clara to confront her deepest fears and desires.
Together, Clara and Ana must navigate a world of prejudice and discrimination as they struggle to protect Ana's secret and the child growing inside her. Their love and determination are tested as they face societal judgment and a series of life-altering choices.
