Former ITV presenter Phillip Schofield has been dropped as an ambassador of the Prince’s Trust. The charity, founded by King Charles, said it was "no longer appropriate” to work with the former This Morning co-host. Schofield, 61, resigned from ITV on Friday after admitting to an “unwise” affair with a younger male colleague. The Prince’s Trust was founded in 1976 to help improve the lives of disadvantaged young people in the UK. The charity’s ambassadors include ITV presenters Ant and Dec, England football manager Gareth Southgate, and actor Benedict Cumberbatch. Report by Jonesia.
