E Jean Carroll said she feels “fantastic” the morning after a jury found Donald Trump liable for battery and defamation in her lawsuit against him.
The writer and magazine journalist added that “yesterday was probably the happiest day of my life” as she spoke to Good Morning America on Wednesday 10 May alongside her attorney Roberta Kaplan.
“I feel fantastic,” Ms Carroll said at the beginning of her interview, before describing her four-year legal battle.
“It was this 5ft 3in wily female attorney and this elderly, 79-year-old advice columnist who are finally holding Donald Trump liable.”
