Obiena to auction off shoes used in men's pole vault win
EJ Obiena is set to auction the pair of shoes he used in a record setting performance in the men's pole vault of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games at the Morodok Techo Stadium on Sunday, May 8, 2023. Obiena, who cleared 5.65 meters, said the funds from the auction will be used to buy a pole vault landing pit for the kids in Tuguegarao after seeing a video of one using sawdust (kusot) as his landing pit.
