The UNC is calling on the Minister of Finance to prioritize clearing the backlog of $7.8B in VAT refunds to businesses as this severely impacts their ability to conduct business locally. Speaking on the matter at the UNC’s weekly media briefing this morning, was Opposition Senator Damian Lyder.
